Highlights Day 2 | John John Florence Becomes The Man To Beat In Peniche

Yesterday Italo closed things out with a bang, today Florence showed what growing up at Pupukea brings to his beach break game.

After two events in paradise, the Championship Tour turns up the heat with a cold water clash in Portugal. Famed for its heavy barrels and iconic European backdrop, the world’s best surfers will suit up and throw down in Peniche with just two events remaining before the Mid-season Cut.

Watch live Mar 3-13 on worldsurfleague.com.

Follow the road to the Rip Curl WSL Finals.

Highlights Day 3: Picklum's Revolutionary Rail Work, Plus Seasoned Vets Make The Cut

First eliminations from the men and a massive final day for the world’s best women locked in, under the pressure of losing their dream.

Margaret River is a battle for survival. Raw swells slam the rugged coastline and even the world’s best surfers feel small against the untamed power of Western Australia. This year, adding to it all is the new mid-season cut, which will reduce the Championship Tour competitors by a third to the top 22 men and 10 women. Who will make the cut and continue their hunt for a World Title, and who will leave Margaret River headed for the Challenger Series?

Follow the road to the Rip Curl WSL Finals.

Watch the Top Ten Waves from Men's Day 3 Corona Mexico Open presented by Quiksilver. Featuring Mateus Herdy, Jack Robinson, Italo Ferreira, Deivid Silva, Leonardo Fioravanti, and Frederico Morais.

Fifteen years after one of the best events in WSL history, the Championship Tour makes its much-anticipated return to Barra De La Cruz and one of the most perfect right point breaks in the world. While the last event here was a novelty Search event, this year’s contest brings real gravity and stakes. As the second-to-last stop on the schedule, all eyes are on the WSL Final 5. Some surfers have already clinched their ticket to the World Title-deciding event at Trestles, so there are only a few precious spots left. Who will seize them?
