VIDEO ALERT: RED BULL CAPE FEAR BACK IN TASMANIA FOR MORE IN 2021

Red Bull Cape Fear, the one-of-a-kind invitation-only big wave surfing competition, is returning to Shipstern Bluff, Tasmania’s home of slab surfing. Here is all you need to know:

- This year’s event will involve an all-Australian line-up with Mick Fanning once again leading the field alongside a strong cohort of big wave surfers from across the country that will also feature a female category for the first time.

RIP CURL SIGNS THREE-YEAR PARTNERSHIP WITH WSL FOR RIP CURL WSL FINALS

The World Surf League (WSL) and Rip Curl together announced the three-year partnership of the Rip Curl WSL Finals, the new one-day competition that will decide the men's and women's World Surfing Champions.

The inaugural Rip Curl WSL Finals will take place in San Clemente, Calif. at Lower Trestles. At the conclusion of the regular season, the top five men and top five women on the CT rankings will head to Orange County for this one-day, winner-take-all shot at the World Title.

MIGUEL BLANCO WINS E-PRO EUROPE

Nearly two weeks of competition at the E-Pro Europe crowned Miguel Blanco its 2021 champion over fellow Portuguese competitor Neco Pyrrait. Blanco’s incredible performance throughout the event culminated into a massive win with yet another jaw-dropping barrel ride, this time from Esquierda dos Dinossaurous.
