Background: Carissa is a 4 time WSL World Champion, taking out the title in 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2019. She gained an inaugural surf spot at Tokyo 2020/21 Olympics via 2019 WSL Championship Tour, and went on to win Gold. Qualified for Paris 2024 Olympic Games via WSL Championship Tour.
