2023 Laax Open Halfpipe Highlights

Laax is home to the most progressive snowparks in Europe and it’s no surprise that it houses the world’s longest competition halfpipe. At 21m wide, with 7m-high walls, this icy arena was built to boost riders to record-setting heights and push the limits of the sport.

The Return Of The Skate Team Super Tour | Red Bull Drop In Euro Tour

Red Bull’s ‘Drop-In’ Euro Tour 2022 was our trans-European express through some of the continent’s most vital skate scenes, which comprised of no less than five incredible skate demo’s in five different countries over just eight days.

We tasked Ira Ingram (who made our 2019 blockbuster ‘You Good?’) with following our squad across Europe for a backstage look at what life on a Red Bull Skateboarding mega-tour really looks like.

Enjoy his view of how our international road crew- including heavy-hitters Ryan Sheckler, Jamie Foy, Torey Pudwill, Zion Wright, Leticia Bufoni, Gustavo Ribeiro, Margie Didal, Alex Sorgente and Felipe Gustavo- linked up with Red Bull team-mates all along the way to blow the roof off demos in Barcelona, Marseille, Prague, Cologne and Amsterdam during September and October just gone!

Ashton Goggans and the Stab crew partner up with Herdy as he gives the No Contest viewer the best guided tour in the series’s seven year history, from boat trips to secret spots, to cheering on the local football team and hand painting wetsuits before paddling out. Leon Glatzer is a Hawaiian born, German surfer who calls Central America's Pacific coast home. If you’re a little confused, don’t be, as in the latest episode of No Contest we explain everything, from the deep south of Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast. Leon grew up in the small beachside town of Pavones, home to one of the best left-handers on earth. Although proudly German, Leon spoke three languages growing up and is as comfortable on the soccer field in his hometown as he is flying down the autobahn en route to a German Olympic training facility.

In the raw edit above we focus on the spectacular ripping that takes place in the water, while in the full episode we learn all about the crazy history of Costa Rica’s most famous wave, a story so wild it’s hard to believe, and one that has somehow its resulted in Pavones becoming one of the most unspoiled and welcoming surfing communities on the planet.
