MUNDAKA an epic week with Kepa Acero, Natxo Gonzalez, Erwan Blouin, Pierre Rollet & Boris Romann Two days with 3m at 15s and WSW winds, followed by a day of 4m at 17s with southerlies, and to wrap it up, one last day with 3m+ at 18s and south winds… Yeah, it’s fair to say this was probably the best week Mundaka has seen in the last ten years. Our Basque surfers Kepa Acero and Natxo Gonzalez wouldn’t have missed it for the world, joined by Erwan Blouin, Pierre Rollet, Boris Romann and Arnaud Mestelan. Kai Lenny, Nathan Florence & Friends Kick Off Winter in Ireland For most surfers, Ireland’s raw Atlantic power is something you watch on a screen. The trip began before anyone even arrived. Natxo Gonzalez paddled into a Mullaghmore drainer so epic it instantly became one of the defining waves of his career. For Kai Lenny and Leonardo Fioravanti, it was their first look at Mully with Conor Maguire on hosting duties to help navigate Ireland's wild coast.
