Surfers Rescue 365

Surfing WA is excited to launch our new Surfers Rescue 365 program, in partnership with Surf Life Saving WA with support from the Department of Sport and Recreation and local councils around the state.

Surfers are in the water 365 days of the year, dusk til dawn. We want to give the recreational surfing community the basic board rescue and first aid skills that may help safe a life on our vast coastline.

HIF Pro Am Series - Round # 1 Margaret River

Margaret River’s Jerome Forrest has conquered an all-star field at Gas Bay to claim victory at the opening event of the Health Insurance Fund of Australia (HIF) WA Pro Am Series presented by SunSmart.

The surf-rich Margaret River region turned on classic summer surf conditions, with 4-6 feet (2.5meters) waves on offer for competitors who converged from right across the state.

The event was treated to two consecutive days of pulsing swell and clean conditions, making for a memorable start to WA's Pro Am Series in 2017.

2017 Taj’s Small Fries Yallingup

Seven new champions have joined an illustrious group of winners to etch their name into Taj’s Small Fries prestigious honour roll after an exciting finish to WA’s biggest junior surfing event in Yallingup.
