Surf travel with @riseupsurfnicaragua Part 1 Most hardcore surfers spend a significant part of their lives chasing waves. Surfers are routinely scanning the sea’s horizon in anticipation of their next ride. In a more expansive sense this everyday search for waves at the local surf spots translates to global wanderlust. Ask any self respecting surfer about a good surf safari and it’s usually considered bucket list gold if not an annual occurrence. In the coming weeks, Freesurf will document a good section of the Nicaraguan surf scene in collaboration with Rise Up Surf retreats. The Good people at Rise Up have created experiences all over the world, and here in Nicaragua Rise Up housed us at a beautiful, comfortable clean location, fed us healthy delicious food 3x a day and helped us explore and experience the best surfing beaches by boat and by car on the Nicaragua Coast. Our cast of characters are diverse and our mission has just begun… Rise Up is more than simply a surf camp - they are a Familia. @riseupsurfnicaragua 🎥 @aukaing @kleberpires_hawaii
