Event preview: 3. Zillertal Välley Rälley Tourstopp 28.-02.-01.03.2026 Mayrhofen 3rd Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop on 28 February and 1 March 2026 at PenkenPark Mountopolis – Mayrhofen-Hippach in the Zillertal The 3rd Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop hosted by Blue Tomato will take place on 28 February and 1 March 2026 at PenkenPark in Mountopolis, Mayrhofen. With its unique combination of snowboard slopestyle competitions, coachings and sessions, the VÄLLEY RÄLLEY has become one of the leading series for young snowboarders from all over Europe. A special highlight is the Blue Tomato presents: Penken FunCross Battle, which is open to every snowboarder. The registration for the contest, coaching and FunCross Battle is already open at https://valleyralley.at/ and obligatory for everyone. Spots are limited, register now! The PenkenPark in Mayrhofen is the home base of the Ästhetiker Snowboard Crew. As one of the most popular freestyle parks, it ranks among the top 5 snow parks in Europe. The 3rd Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop will feature a snowboard slopestyle competition, freestyle coaching workshops and the popular Blue Tomato presents: Penken FunCross Battle. On the day of the contest, snowboarders of all ages will compete on the advanced and medium lines. The day's winners can look forward to lots of medals and prize money, while the best trick will be rewarded with a special prize from Horsefeathers. Depending on weather conditions, the competition will take place on Saturday or Sunday, with coaching and FunCross Battle on the other day. The organisers will announce the current schedule Thursday before the event. On both days, Blue Tomato will provide free hot dogs, snacks and drinks. With the third of four contest results, the excitement in the VÄLLEY RÄLLEY overall ranking will be mounting in Mayrhofen. The overall tour winners will be crowned the new Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY royal family after the fourth and final tour stop at the end of April on the Hintertux Glacier. By participating in the Mayrhofen-Hippach holiday region, snowboarders earn points on the international World Snowboard Point List (WSPL), which qualifies them for further events. The tour stop is a part of the rookies (U18) receive points towards the World Rookie Ranking. The two leading rookies in the overall VÄLLEY RÄLLEY ranking after the tour stop each win a wild card for the World Rookie Finals. Groms Open Rookie Fest 2026 The World Rookie Tour is officially kicking off the 2026 winter season in one of Europe’s most iconic freestyle playgrounds: PenkenPark, Mayrhofen. On January 6, 2026, the Groms Open Rookie Fest will bring together the next generation of snowboarders for a day where style, progression, and pure rookie energy take center stage. The Groms Open Rookie Fest returns to Mayrhofen as a key early stop of the World Rookie Tour, bringing fresh energy and progression to one of Europe’s most iconic freestyle parks. With young riders gathering from across the region, Mayrhofen will once again become a playground for creativity, style, and next-level riding.

Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Blue Tomato 2025/2026 coming up this winter! What started out as a small snowboard competition tour, has now become the most popular event series for young snowboarders in Europe. Twelve years of Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY under the auspices of the local snowboard club ‘Die Aesthetiker.’ The VÄLLEY RÄLLEY offers young athletes a platform to measure their skills against their peers and qualify for further competitions. The event series thus serves as a springboard for young snowboarders into international professional sport. Many formerly very young talents who won their first medal at the Välley Rälley are now at the top of the international competition circuit and won their first medals at the Olympics. The competitions are held in the Olympic discipline ‘Snowboard Slopestyle’ and are linked to the international point systems of the ‘World Snowboard Point List’ and the ‘World Rookie Ranking’. In addition, young people under the age of 18 can qualify for the World Rookie Tour Finals every year. All tour stops further count as recognized Austria Cups of the Austrian Snowboard Association. New tour dates 2025/2026 The Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY 2025/2026 starts again in December.
