Description: Ahipara Beach is a sandy beach break, located southwest of Kaitaia, on the west coast of Northland. There are several peaks to choose from along the beach, with both right and left-handers. The wave is soft and fat, great for learners. Good for all levels of surfer.

Spot guide: Ahipara Beach is located southwest from Kaitaia, on the west coast of Northland. From Kaitaia, travel northwest on South Road, then turn left onto Redan Road. Continue onto Pukepoto Road, heading southwest out of town. At Ahipara, continue straight onto Foreshore Road to the beach.
