Monster Euro Tour – Episode 3

The #MonsterEuroTour has rolled into its final destinations in episode 3, long live the good times! From the streets of Helsinki, mobbing through Vienna and wrapping up the tour in Tel Aviv. Clips were stacked, ankles tweaked, and boards delaminated, all in the name of one of the rawest and most ambitious tours in skate history. Huge shout out to Ponke, Stil and Gilis for the assist and all the locals who came and brought the noise.

MATT Get into the mindset of a technical street skating powerhouse! Watch Matt Berger as he prepares to represent Team Canada at the Tokyo Olympic games and earns silver, his first X Games medal, in the Real Street video competition.

After receiving his first skateboard at the age of five, Berger quickly developed a drive to progress his skillset in his backyard and at the local skate park. “I just loved skateboarding so much. At such a young age it captured me on a crazy level that the passion and drive for it was so obsessive. By the time I was eight, I had this vision in my head of becoming a pro skateboarder and living in California,” said Berger.

When the pandemic shut down international travel in 2020, he focused on creating a video entry for the Real Street competition with filmer and editor David Stoessel. Giving his best has paid off: At X Games 2021, his 60-second video part – including next-level handrail tricks like a big flip frontside bluntslide fakie and kickflip sugarcane grind – earned Berger the silver medal in the X Games Real Street competition.

Men's Finals: Runs and Best Tricks | Street Skateboarding World Championships 2021

The world's best male street skateboarders were invited to Rome, Italy for the 2021 Street Skateboarding World Championships. In the finals, each competitor is given two run attempts and five best-trick attempts, with the top four scores being counted towards their final total score.

Not only are the stakes high to crown a World Champion, but this event also serves as the final qualification event for Tokyo. By the end of the event, all countries’ street skate athletes will be decided, making this a big moment in the world of skateboarding.
