ABOUT THE SNOW LEAGUE:

Launched in June 2024, The Snow League is the first professional winter sports league dedicated to snowboarding and freeskiing. Founded by three-time Olympic gold medalist and entrepreneur ‪ Shaun White , Season One features a four-event global format boasting a $2.2 million prize purse, with athletes competing to earn points to determine the overall champions. The season kicks off at Buttermilk in Aspen Snowmass (March 7–8, 2025), then moves to Yunding Snow Park, China (Dec. 4–6, 2025), where 16 of the world’s top freeskiers will join the roster at the Beijing 2022 Olympic venue. The League returns to Aspen Snowmass (Feb. 27–28, 2026) and concludes in LAAX, Switzerland (March 19–21, 2026), where the first-ever Snow League World Champions will be crowned. The Snow League is represented by Range Sports on its media rights and commercial partnerships strategy and execution.

FAMILY TIES & ENDLESS VIBES – PT.2 | SWATCH NINES 25

The vibes & camaraderie at Swatch Nines is unmatched.

The true essence of Swatch Nines was on full display last week as Schilthorn transformed into a welcoming, friendly playground for skiers and snowboarders. Family vibes and tight‑knit camaraderie took center stage, creating a pressure‑free space where riders cheered, encouraged, and pushed one another to new heights with jaw‑dropping tricks and slams. The whole mountain buzzed with passion—every stomped landing came with a hug and a high five, and it’s that stoke that keeps people coming back.

Part of these impeccable vibes are the the result of our design philosophy that puts the riders first. The breathtaking features are imagined and designed by riders, for riders, with the goal of creating a space where athletes feel comfortable, inspired, and free to express themselves without the pressure of competition.

METHOD MAG RECAP - Swatch Nines'24

We asked Method Mag to come on-site and showcase what's really happening at the Swatch Nines!

"We were asked to come to the Swatch Nines and report whatever snowboard related action was going on there in the lovely resort of Schilthorn. And what a crazy week it was! The weather kept us down in the village at first, so we improvised a little street session with Simon Gschaider and the hotel golf cart. A pretty unusual start for an event like this... But soon enough we got to go up and see the crazy set-up and the insane riding that went along with it. We even witnessed a couple world records for highest air on what they called a "perfect hip". It was more like a "giant hip" to us, but hey, they're the professional designers, not us. After a couple parties here and there, a quick visit to the James Bond museum (apparently the worst James Bond movie ever made), a nice dinner in a spinning restaurant at the top of the mountain, Chaeun's birthday, some epic snowboarding under a burning sun and maybe the rowdiest Field Report we did so far, we went home with some nice souvenirs and full SD cards. Thus, this edit."

Dew Tour 2024 Highlights: Superpipe 20th Anniversary and High Air & Best Trick Jam

Closing out Winter Dew Tour 2024, ski and snowboard athletes let loose in the Copper Mountain Superpipe during the Dew Tour 20th Anniversary session and High Air & Best Trick Jam. The riders lined up on the sidelines of the pipe, launched off sweet spots on walls, and extended their tricks to their limits. A handful of awards were handed out for Nixon's Old Timer Award, Pacifico Anchors Up MVP, and US Air Force Highest Air all in the name of fun. Thank you to everyone who spent their weekend at Copper Mountain and celebrated 20 years of Dew Tour with us! #dewtour
