Background: Ever since I was a little kid, I have always been on the go and had a passion for the outdoors. I have always had abnormal amounts of energy, in fact, my parents had to keep me on a child leash when they took me out in public so I wouldn't get myself lost. I would spend my days waking up at the crack of dawn just so I could go outside and play before school and then coming home and going straight outside again until the sunset. Now I am 23 years of age and have just as much energy as I did when I was a child. Luckily, I have learned how to channel it into the things I love. I still spend just as much time outdoors as I did while growing up. I fill my time doing the things I love most in life, whether it be competing in freestyle snowboarding, shredding in the Oregon backcountry, downhill mountain biking on the trails in Whistler BC, or backpacking and overloading basically anywhere else. While enjoying the outdoors, I have also kept up with my academics. I will be entering my final year at Oregon State University and will be obtaining ​a degree in Energy Systems Engineering.
