Profile ALAS. Martin Perez (Mar del Plata, Argentina) ¿QUE SIGNIFICA EL TOUR ALAS EN TU VIDA? Esa es la pregunta que le hicimos a algunxs surfistas que hace años viene siguiendo nuestro tour latinoamericano. Porque el surf es más que un deporte o una disciplina física. Es una forma de expresión, es vibrar desde la profundidad del ser, es sumergirse, es salir y estallar en segundos. Para quienes sienten el surf tan latente es como una constante perfección hermosamente imperfecta; porque nunca hay una ola igual a otra. Surfear es como el borrador de una obra maestra... es un arte. Cada historia en particular de estos profiles tiene diferentes matices, realidades y vivencias. Pero todxs unidos por lo mismo. El mar, las olas, sus tablas, sus fuerzas y las ganas de salir adelante. Para estxs surfistas (al igual que a muchxs otrxs) el Alas fue un soporte, un camino, una ilusión, un objetivo, una red de contención, y por sobre todas las cosas los hizo parte de una familia. La familia ALAS. // WHAT DOES THE WINGS TOUR MEAN IN YOUR LIFE? That is the question we asked some surfers who have been following our Latin American tour for years. Because surfing is more than a sport or a physical discipline. It is a form of expression, it is to vibrate from the depth of being, it is to submerge, it is to go out and explode in seconds. For those who feel surfing so latent it is like a constant perfection, beautifully imperfect; because there is never one wave equal to another. Surfing is like the rough draft of a masterpiece ... it's an art. Each particular story of these profiles has different nuances, realities and experiences. But all united by the same. The sea, the waves, its boards, its strength and the desire to get ahead. For these surfers (like many others) the Alas was a support, a path, an illusion, a goal, a containment network, and above all things made them part of a family. The ALAS family.
