Background: Joan Duru has been one of the biggest surfing standouts in Europe for more than a decade. The lanky goofyfooter is equipped with an explosive repertoire of aerial moves, hard carving turns and great instincts in the tube. He cut his teeth in the renown beachbreaks of southwest France primarily at Ondres, between Anglett and Hossegor. First season on the Championship Tour was 2006. Qualified for Paris 2024 Olympic Games via ISA World Surfing Games 2024.
