Episode 12: Behind the Scenes of the RGTV Maldives Surf Trip From epic surf sessions to serious cabin fever, this episode of At The Heart of It takes you behind the scenes of the unforgettable RGTV Maldives trip with six of our ROXY athletes. Hosted by Tiara Bella, the group dives into what really went down, the highs, the chaos, the inside jokes, the unforgettable waves, and everything in between. Kohai, Izzi, Maluhia, Coco, Chloe and Zoe open up about their favorite moments, what they didn’t pack, and how a surf trip builds bonds that last beyond the lineup. This episode is a celebration of it all, surf, sisterhood, travel, adventure, and the magic that happens when you put six athletes on a boat in paradise with boards, bikinis, never-ending storms and no escape from each other.

RGTV Maldives Episode 7: Snack Testing While the Island Floods It’s our last full day in the Maldives and somehow, the weather hits a new level of chaos. Chloe slept in a rain jacket to stay warm, everyone’s exhausted, and the sky is dumping. But in true RGTV style, the vibes are still high. Cue a boat dance party in the rain on the way to the surf. Despite the storm, the waves are firing. The girls surf through a full-on downpour, then endure an absolutely torrential ride back to the main boat, grabbing anything they can (flippers, towels, you name it) to shield themselves from the sideways rain. Once the storm clears, it’s time for something new: Izzi’s backflip lesson. Big-wave surfer? Absolutely. Backflipper? Not even close. The evening turns cozy, with a global snack swap on board, from Paçoquita and Tim Tams to French macarons, Hawaiian tea, and good ol' American jerky. It’s the end of the trip and the chaos, the laughs, and the stormy magic somehow made it all unforgettable.

RGTV Maldives Episode 6: Finally… Sun, Surf, and the Shots We Came For It’s the final stretch of the trip, and the girls are feeling it, tired, sunburnt, and still chasing every last bit of stoke. We kick things off with Malu sharing her go-to Maldivian breakfast (think tuna, rice, coconut & tortillas), before heading back out for more waves. The surf is still delivering, but energy levels are definitely in “last days of the trip” mode. Midday, the crew heads to Thulusdhoo for some lifestyle content — which quickly turns into a beach club dance party. Later, with the sun finally showing off, the team lands on a deserted island to shoot dreamy swimwear content. There may not be enough sunscreen in the world, but after days of storms, the sunshine feels like a miracle. And just when everything feels picture-perfect… a line of storm cells rolls in fast. It’s a full-on scramble to get off the island and back to the boat before the weather hits. The Maldives gave us everything — and they’re not done yet.
