Quemao Class 2020 | Finals Highlights Watch the surfing and bodyboarding highlights from the last day of competition at the 2020 Quemao Class, held at El Quemao, in La Santa, Lanzarote, Canary Islands. The Quemao Class 2020 was considered the best edition of its history. From beginning to end, the waves ridden will be remembered for many years. The level of the athletes increased heat after heat; yes, there were moments of stress but, above all, spectators witnessed a historic showdown. Aritz Aranburu won the surfing division with a near-perfect two-wave total of 19.40 points. "We had two incredible days. It was one of the most special events that I have had the privilege to compete in during my career," expressed Aranburu. The highlight of this event is undoubtedly the wave, but the unique thing is its natural environment, with natural stands, where the audience rises above the surfers- In the bodyboarding division, the two-time APB World Tour champion, Amaury Lavernhe, raised above his opponents, which included another world champion, Pierre-Louis Costes. The French bodyboarder loves this type of wave. "For me, it is one of the best waves I have ever competed in," concluded Lavernhe.
