The 2022 Laax Open drew to a spectacular close on Saturday in Switzerland, with a full day of FIS Snowboard slopestyle and halfpipe action taking to the immaculate Snowpark Laax venues, where Tess Coady (AUS) and Sean Fitzsimons (USA) claimed the slopestyle victories, and Chloe Kim (USA) and Ayumu Hirano (JPN) came through with the final World Cup halfpipe wins of the 2021/22 season.

The time has come for the World Rookie Fest Livigno 2022! 80 snowboarders and 50 freeskier from 15 different countries are expected in Livigno for the first stop of the World Rookie Tour 2022 and the beautiful Mottolino Snowpark is ready to host the event. In addition to that, the Black Yeti's partner Boardriding.com crew will be in Livigno to stream all the action from both snowboard and freeski finals yet again!

The Boardriding.com team will soon be on the way to Mottolino Snowpark to get all ready for the upcoming livestream of both Snowboard and Freeski finals of 2022 World Rookie Fest Livigno (Tuesday January 18th for Snowboard and Friday January 21st for Freeski). Make sure to tune in!

The LAAX OPEN 2022 is ready to rumble. The best freestyle snowboarders from all over the world are taking the reins for the last FIS Snowboard World Cup before the Winter Olympics. From 11-15 January, snowboarders will be taking centre stage at Europe’s most renowned snowboard contest. Men and women will compete for a total of CHF 140,000 prize money in slopestyle and superpipe.

X Games Aspen 2022 welcomes fans back to Buttermilk Mountain from January 21 – 23 with world-class action sports competitions, complemented by the interactive X Fest fan zone. The X Fest area will feature sponsor activations, live DJ performances, athlete meet and greets powered by Icon Source, giveaways and more. In addition to X Fest, fans can interact with X Games Aspen throughout the week through a collaboration on several events with Aspen Gay Ski Week and nightly concerts at Belly Up for X Games Music Week.

A huge day of action at the Toyota U.S. Grand Prix at Mammoth Mountain went down on Saturday, with both slopestyle and halfpipe World Cup competitions taking to the pristine Mammoth Unbound venues where some incredible riding went down from start to finish of the day.

This upcoming weekend, the 2nd Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop hosted by Blue Tomato and Ride Snowboards will go down at the Actionpark Kreuzwiese in the ski resort of Zillertal Arena, Zell am Ziller. By sticking to the 2G (vaccinated or recovered) rules and under strict safety precautions, the second competion of Zillertal´s most popular Snowboard Amateur Series will be hosted over two days. An online registration is obligatory and can be done at www.valleyralley.at. Due to the governmental restrictions, spots are limited and the registration will close when it´s complete. So you´d better hurry up now!

Due to some fairly obvious reasons, last season was just the second time in six years that we didn’t get to visit California for our annual bonanza of FIS Snowboard Park & Pipe World Cup action at the Mammoth Mountain Toyota U.S. Grand Prix.

The 2021/22 FIS Snowboard slopestyle World Cup is finally ready to get underway with a big week of action in Calgary at the Snow Rodeo presented by Swatch and Toyota. Men’s qualifications in Calgary are going down on Wednesday, with women’s qualifications and men’s semifinals on Friday, and finals taking place in a very special New Year’s Day programme on Saturday.
