The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is launching a new four-sport Olympic qualifier series for Paris 2024. This is an Olympic Agenda 2020+5 project, which was presented today to the IOC Executive Board. The new IOC-led Olympic qualifier series will include four sports – BMX freestyle, breaking, skateboarding, and sport climbing.

Red Bull Hammers with Homies returns with the international final in Madonna di Campiglio, Trentino, Italy. On April 16th and 17th, crews from all over Europe will land in the spectacular Ursus Snowpark, to earn the honor and the hammer of victory.

The Snowboard and Freeski World Cup Corvatsch in Silvaplana ended on Sunday with the spectacular snowboarding Slopestyle Final. For the second time in a row snowboarders finished their FIS World Cup season at Corvatsch. Anna Gasser (AUT) and Marcus Kleveland (NOR) won the Slopestyle and thus the last contest of the season, both beaming about the CHF 11,250 prize money respectively.

The World Rookie Snowboard Finals in Kitzsteinhorn Kaprun/Zell am See Salzburg are just around the corner, the program is set and the best young snowboarders from all over the world are ready to land in Austria. The program of 2022 World Rookie Finals will include many lifestyle activities as social dinners, different workshops with Viva con Aqua, Save Shred, Monepic Workshop and more.
After five years off of the World Cup calendar, the Audi SnowJam slopestyle World Cup showed once again why it’s one of the most fun and well-loved competitions in snowboarding when finals went down on Saturday in Spindleruv Mlyn, with a hugely entertaining day of competition ending in wins for Kokomo Murase of Japan and New Zealand’s Tiarn Collins.

Last Sunday, the last stop of this year's Girls Sessions took place in Ehrwald. On 13.03.2022, over 40 girls met at the Snowpark Ehrwalderalm for the grand finale, equipped with twintips and snowboard. They all shared one common goal: to push their skills, learn new tricks and find new shred sisters.
Plenty of new tricks were learnt at the last Girls Shred Session of 2022.

Around 80 snowboarders from all over Europe came together at the PenkenPark in Mayrhofen-Hippach in the Zillertal, Austria last weekend to be a part of the 3rd Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop 2021/2022 hosted by Blue Tomato & Ride Snowboards. The popular Zillertal snowboard amateur series took place in strict compliance with the current governmental safety rules. Beside the open slopestyle contest and freebie freestyle coachings, the Blue Tomato presents: Penken FunRide Battle was a great delight for all riders and guests in Mayrhofen on the training day.

The first edition of Red Bull Rail Yard is coming up in a few weeks. The international snowboarding jib-community gathers from March 31st to April 2nd in Kühtai outside of Innsbruck to celebrate the season end. Red Bull Rail Yard is a session from riders for riders. It’s all about creativity, innovation, and most of all the fun of spring riding together. The riders’ playground is the specially built "Railgarden” with countless rails and features – truly a joy for the pro riders and amateurs to discover. The end of season event offers a total prizemoney of € 15.000 on top.

Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn in Zell am See-Kaprun, Austria, is in full effect: Central Park and South Central Park have been open for some days, Easy Park and Superpipe have been in operation since December. The terrain parks offer a varied range of rails and kickers for every skill level. They will be expanded within the next weeks to provide even more freestyle fun for the spring. Then, some events will take place again as well, including the snowboard finals of the World Rookie Tour. Thanks to the excellent snow conditions, freeriders get their money’s worth on the Kitzsteinhorn as well, as freeriding in XXL format awaits them on the 5 wide powder routes. Everything is ready for the best time on the glacier!

In a month, freestylers will drop into the Slopestyle course at the FIS Freeski & Snowboard Worldcup Corvatsch in Silvaplana. Preparations are in full swing. From 24 to 27 March 2022, the 9th edition of the Freeski World Cup is taking place, while the snowboarders have Silvaplana on the calendar since 2021. Top riders from all over the world celebrate the FIS World Cup Season Final 2022 in Corvatsch Park. Next to a total of CHF 100.000 in prize money and the event titles, also the large and small crystal globe are awarded.
The Olympics are over and our ex rookies and former World Rookie Tour Champions have conquered 4 medals and 24 spots in snowboard and freeski finals. In addition, we had miscalculated in the last PR: from World Rookie Tour events in the last years, the Black Yeti accompanied to the Olympics more than 50 athletes in snowboard and freeski competitions! A great pride for all of us, a great recognition for those who have made the future of these young rippers, its mission.

When 50 girls hit the PenkenPark with the mission to send, the good vibes are guaranteed - and that's exactly the way it was!
