LS/FF 2019 x VANS REDUX 9th Annual London Surf / Film Festival x VANS touched down in the heart of the capital, bringing the to the UK the very cream of international surf culture and the creatives behind it - 5 nights of packed out World, European and UK premieres accompanied by special audiences with icons of the surf and screen, including the likes of Alex Knost, Lee Ann Curren, Dougal Paterson, Spencer Frost, Chris McClean, CJ Mirra and Rick Wall plus live music, live illustrations from artist in residence The Cunning Craftsman, good times and more. London Surf / Film Festival was established to celebrate the breadth and depth of creativity that exists in surfing and has become a barometer at the heart of surf culture. “Once again we were stoked to work with some of the most exciting creatives across the globe to curate a line-up of premieres that reflect the broad spectrum of waveriding and the very best of our culture here and now,” explains LS/FF co-founder Chris Nelson. “We brought to the big screen premieres like White Rhino exploring the biggest days ever ridden, A Corner of the Earth celebrating the spirit of exploration and Zone Frequency showcasing the next level of stylish, cutting edge wavesliding alongside the best of The Shorties the strand we established to showcase standout homegrown filmmaking talents.
