Horizon Lines : EP2 : Japan We immersed ourselves in a culture and way of life, which we ultimately deemed “Hokkaido Style.” This encompassed a well-rounded approach to each day. Everyone we visited would take time to stretch and do yoga before going to the mountain. We were welcomed to their home resort or area, and they were eager to take us to their favorite zones. There was no localism or attitude; it was all-inclusive and about making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Afterwards, we would eat amazing food and recount our favorite moments of the day. Tan tan, sushi, udon, and curry soup and would warm us after long days in the mountains. As if it were a necessity, we would always end up at the local onsen–the Japanese hot springs prevalent in every area we visited. Visits to the hot springs would provide necessary relaxation, decompression, and meditation. Each day felt healthy, happy, and complete. Our time spent on this schedule provided a glimpse into a very rich and full lifestyle free of concern or anxiety.

Horizon Lines : EP1 : Iceland In the spirit of explorers before his time, Forrest Shearer gathers a crew consisting of Jeremy Jones, Bryan Iguchi, and surfer Kohl Christensen to travel to Iceland in search of of an idea. A plan that involved snowboarding, surfing, and new experiences. It was only here that they realized they've all visited this landscape before but only in childhood dreams. Imagine drawing a picture with snow covered peaks, peeling waves off the coastline, and a sailboat anchored in the bay. Learning from the locals this place does exist if you want it to. You just have to expand your horizon lines. "How is it that this place does not see more snowboarding? The setup is perfect for foot-powered, high-angle riding—hundreds of mountains laced with steep, clean, chutes. Once you’re here, access is as simple as picking a line, parking or anchoring below it, and walking straight up the 300- to 1,500-foot faces. With thick sea-level air on your side, you can tag multiple lines in a day.
