Event guide:

Event 1 of the South Island Grom series was held at St Clair beach on Saturday 12th of December. The decision was made early to try and run the comp in one day. With a 1.5m-2m south swell, near gale force westerly winds and high tide in the middle of the day this was going to be a massive challenge.
