Team ONeill | Summer '25

This summer, we took the team to Hawaii, and instead of just being world-class surfers, we explored the island like tourists. From a glass-bottom boat ride to vintage shopping and grabbing malasadas at Leonard’s Bakery, we soaked it all in. Eli, Noah, and Ian hit the links for a little barefoot golf before heading out to grab their favorite poke bowls. But you can’t keep the boys on land for long when you’re in Hawaii—the team put our boardshorts to the test in the warm waters and enjoyed everything the magical island has to offer. North Shore, Town, East Side, and West—Hawaii truly is the ultimate playground. Our Summer ‘25 line offers a wide range of products to keep you covered while you vacation, explore, surf, fish, or dive.

That’s it for this years Rookie Rippers. An unforgettable few days where dreams were made for a group of young surfers. Team Jordy Smith & Laura Crane went head to head against Team Johanne Defay & Ben Larg. Our surf coaches, Philippe Malvaux and Ben Skinner, laid out the challenges and we saw a heated battle between the teams, but there can only be one winner. We also selected two new Rookie Rippers to join Team O’Neill. Thanks again to @thewave for having us, everyone who helped make this event possible and of course all the rippers!

BEHIND THE STRIKE | Maybe We Take The Detour | O'Neill

Some of a surf trip's most memorable moments happen during the in-between. In between surfing and reviewing clips, in between getting breakfast and waxing boards, and oftentimes in between one surf check to the next. These are the moments when personalities shine, and characters emerge.
