SafeShred SEPTEMBER UPDATE: Educational Program Underway

September will be a decisive month for the SafeShred project. Indeed, September will host the first “real-life” event with SafeShred partners. This is a milestone in the project’s lifetime because the Covid-19 pandemic has so far limited the scope of all gatherings to online meetings. At the occasion of the WSF General Assembly, the six European snowboard associations involved in SafeShred and the other partners should therefore finally experience the full benefit of what any Erasmus+ Project can offer: share experiences and strengthen cooperation in a multicultural environment.

Report: Burning Boots Banked Slalom 2020 was epic!

The third edition of Burning Boots Banked Slalom had it all – sunshine, fresh snow & banked turns. The event went down in March, before the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic and having fun in the snow was still on every snowboarder’s mind. On Saturday, which was reserved for training runs and qualification, the winter even came to Brauneck with 20cm of fresh snow!

TTAG BANKED SLALOM 2020 - Official Aftermovie

The 2020 TTAG Banked Slalom was nothing short of a miracle! With terrible snow conditions up until the evening before the event, our hopes for a sunny and fresh day in the snow were less than optimistic. But Zeus seemed to have other plans, and after a freak snow dump the evening before the event we arrived to find the course completely covered by a layer of fresh snow, no wind and beautiful bluebird skies. So yeah... thanks for that big guy!

Landing Snowboard Banked Slalom 2020 is coming to Baqueira – Beret!

Key information for you:

Baqueira – Beret (Val d’Aran, Spanish Pyrenees) – hosts for the second year in a row one of the stopovers of the “Banked Slalom Tour” of the World Snowboard Federation (WSF) organized by the snowboarding and splitboarding company “Landing Snowboard”.

The Banked Slalom is a riding modality that allows to reconnect with the roots of snowboarding: surfing & skateboarding, which will take place on Saturday, March 21st at the ski resort Baqueira-Beret

In its first edition, it convened more than 142 participants, the event, snowboard open, aims to consolidate itself as a meeting point for the snowboarder community.

The prizes are valued at € 10,000 in snowboard equipment.

It´s VÄLLEY RÄLLEY time again! On February, 29th and March 1st 2020, the 3rd Zillertal VÄLLEY RÄLLEY tour stop hosted by Blue Tomato & Ride Snowboards will go down at the Penken Park in Mayrhofen-Hippach Zillertal. Beside the open Snowboard Slopestyle contest and freebie Freestyle Coaching Sessions, there will be the infamous Penken Fun Ride Battle on the schedule for Mayrhofen. You can still sign up until Thursday, 27.02.2020!
