Stay tuned for the second competition of the #FWT23 in Ordino Arcalis, Andorra! The competition is set to take place between February 2nd and February 9th.

Following an explosive event in Spain, the FWT heads to neighboring Andorra for the second stop of the season. FWT organizers have decided to extend the event window by considering a possible competition day on Thursday, February 2. This is primarily due to the weather forecast, with a forecasted increase in temperature over the weekend. This makes Thursday and Friday the best possible days to consider for the greatest chance of optimizing snow and weather conditions and, ultimately, offering the safest environment for freeriding.

FWT21 runner-up, Katie Anderson (CAN), found a playful line, linking multiple airs and grabs with incredible board control, before cruising through the lower powder field with style.

Michael Mawn Winning Run I FWT23 Baqueira Beret Pro

Michael Mawn took the win for the second consecutive year with a strong technical line. He threaded the needle at the top of the course, airing into a tight couloir, which threw him out at high speed into the face. He then sent multiple critical airs while maintaining complete control of the board under his feet.

The Big Mountain Legend - Xavier de Le Rue Best Lines of All Time

There are living legends and then there’s Xavier de le Rue – the legendary Pyrenean snowboarder who has been dominating the Freeride World Tour for the better part of a decade.

4 Times Xtreme Verbier winner and 3 times World Champion. Xavier de Le Rue is a true legend of the World Tour: he brought home 30 runs and 50% of them were winning runs! He joined 6 editions of Xtreme Verbier before the establishment of the Freeride World Tour; he then participated in 9 Freeride World Tour editions winning 15 podiums in total from 2002 till 2016… Legend.

FIS and Freeride World Tour Join Forces

The Freeride World Tour is making a milestone in its history thanks to the merger with the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS), which is acquiring FWT properties. The two organizations will join forces starting from the 2022-2023 season.

Freeride Junior World Championship | Teaser

The Freeride World Junior Championship is back! This year, the best young skiers and snowboarders of the world come together for the most eagerly anticipated competition of the Junior series, the Yeti Freeride World Junior Championships by Dynastar.

This is the event where the most talented freeriders of the new generation compete to secure the coveted title of Junior World Champion in all four categories: Ski Men, Ski Women, Snowboard Men and Snowboard Women.
