Start into a curvy weekend! Suddenrush Banked Slalom LAAX 2023

2023 marks the 8th edition of the Suddenrush Banked Slalom LAAX. When you look into the turmoil of the finish area, it seems to be a much longer tradition. Former World Champions, Alpine and Boardercross legends from the 90ies meet Olympians, current Freeride-Stars and weekend shredders. The latter mentioned are often the fastest. They all have one thing in common: a passion for the Snowboard. This should be well waxed for the 17 banked turns, which have been shoveled at the course close by Crap Sogn Gion. Participating is good, to master the course fastest is even better...

2023 Laax Open Halfpipe Highlights

Laax is home to the most progressive snowparks in Europe and it’s no surprise that it houses the world’s longest competition halfpipe. At 21m wide, with 7m-high walls, this icy arena was built to boost riders to record-setting heights and push the limits of the sport.

LAAX OPEN 2023 - Teaser

The LAAX OPEN is expanding: Europe's most prestigious snowboard contest is opening its doors to freeski. The internationally renowned event is thus adding another promising freestyle discipline to the programme. At Crap Sogn Gion mountain at 2,252 masl, 300 riders from all over the world will compete in front of the impressive 360° mountain panorama at the FIS World Cup from 18-22 January 2023.
