Description: Opening in early Summer 2025, Atlantic Park in Virginia Beach will highlight the USA’s first Wavegarden Cove as part of a $350 million mixed-use development in partnership with Virginia Beach native Pharrell Williams.

Spot guide: Situated on the 10.35-acre site of the former Virginia Beach Dome, the park will feature a compact 2.67-acre (approximately 10,800 m²) Wavegarden Cove (46 modules) surrounded by a live entertainment venue, contemporary office spaces, residential units, and a curated mix of shops and restaurants, establishing an exciting year-round destination in the heart of Virginia Beach. North America's First Wavegarden Cove Opens At Atlantic Park In Virginia Beach Atlantic Park becomes the 12th Wavegarden Cove facility to open to the public, further reinforcing Wavegarden's position as a global leader in the surf park industry. A handful of top American surfers were among the lucky few to test out the facility’s world-class waves during the commissioning of the Wave Menu. The venue’s technology features a 46-module Wavegarden Cove capable of generating up to 1,000 waves per hour, with a Wave Menu offering over 25 wave types.
