Best of Yuto Totsuka Snowboard Superpipe Highlights Video | Dew Tour Copper 2021

Japan’s Yuto Totsuka, who has emerged as a dominant force in superpipe competition, ended up on top, beating American Taylor Gold and his Japanese teammate Ruka Hirano for the top spot after a clutch Run 3 performance. Totsuka won every major superpipe competition in the 2020-2021 season but fell to third at the U.S. Grand Prix the weekend before Dew Tour. Winning Runs: Yuto Totsuka Wins Men’s Superpipe Final, Presented by Toyota | Dew Tour Copper 2021

Closing out Dew Tour weekend here at Copper Mountain was the men’s snowboard superpipe final presented by Toyota. History was made with Ayumu Hirano taking the triple cork from practice to landing the first one ever in a competition, and Shaun White calls this his last time in the superpipe at Dew Tour. But at the end of it all, it was Yuto Totsuka on top of the podium with Taylor Gold in second and Ruka Hirano in third place.

LAAX OPEN 2022 - PRESTIGIOUS SNOWBOARD EVENT SCHEDULED FOR JANUARY 11-15

The LAAX OPEN is Europe's most important snowboard event: Since 2005, the January OPEN event in LAAX, Switzerland, has been a living freestyle lifestyle, melding contest with culture. Since 2017, it has been part of the FIS Snowboard World Cup circuit and is considered by numerous riders and teams there as the top favourite event. The OPEN also plays an outstanding role in the media and sets specific standards in reporting.

IWABUCHI, KLEVELAND AND GASSER BIG WINNERS AT SEASON FINALE IN SILVAPLANA

The final event of the 2020/21 FIS Snowboard Park & Pipe season took to the slopes of a brand-new venue for the world’s best riders, and the slopestyle competition that went down on the unique and exciting course at Silvaplana’s Corvatsch 3303 resort did not disappoint. In the end, Reira Iwabuchi (JPN) and Marcus Kleveland (NOR) would take the wins with standout performances on Sunday, while Kleveland and Anna Gasser (AUT) would end the season as the big winners with double crystal globe finishes.

The final competition of two incredible weeks of action at Aspen Snowmass took to the slopes of Buttermilk Mountain on Sunday, where the second and final halfpipe World Cup of the season went down under sunny, springy conditions and Chloe Kim (USA) and Yuto Totsuka continued their pipe dominance with wins at the Land Rover US Grand Prix.
