With over 1000km of coastline, flanked by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, we headed to Mozambique to chase some early summer swells with South African surfers— Tanika Hoffman, Emma Smith and Crystal Hulett. Friendly locals, incredible wildlife, uncrowded world-class waves, and still so much more to explore…

Tofo is a coastal town in southeastern Mozambique. After a two day drive north across the South African and Swaziland border we arrived at our destination in Tofinho, a small tourist and fishing town 23km outside of Inhambane. Straight out of the surf we would find fresh fruit from the local vendors. Then it was on to the next session with a number of waves in our vicinity to choose from. A slice of paradise…

Mexico: Todos Santos surf trip with Pacha + Tanika

Pacha Light and Tanika Hoffman headed down to Mexico in search of swell. They found waves, endless adventure and beautiful views in Todos Santos. They were inspired by the local community and spent their days in warm water sliding through the sea. Take a ride and enjoy the views. North Shore, Hawaii 2016 - A Look Back

With cascading waterfalls, picturesque swimming holes and, of course, too many beautiful beaches to count, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the majestic beauty of Hawaii. To us, it is more than just a tropical vacation destination. It feels like coming home. Hawaii is surfing. Hawaii is the roots of our culture. It’s more than warm waters or big waves; it’s a source of constant, positive energy. A flooring and overwhelming feeling that you have finally found what you've been searching for. Hawaii calls each individual to relax and be present – fully present with those around you, with the water surrounding you.

To us, the true question is: what isn’t good about Hawaii?

Our two weeks on the North Shore have come to an end. Moments filled with a bit of laughing, dancing, eating, connecting, and a lot of surfing, our hearts are full once again from the magic that is H A W A I I. Aloha.

​Eleven surfer gals, six different countries, thousands of miles in travel, two legendary breaks and one tropical destination awaiting their arrival. With nothing but bikinis and wetsuits from our Surf Capsule Collection and their boards, the Billabong Women riders set out for a day submersed in water. With an appetite for swell and Hawaiian waves at their peak, they ventured to the world class breaks of Rocky Point and Chuns Reef. Ready for every duck dive and log ride you have in mind. The nose of our boards duck in; we are quickly warmed by the Hawaiian sun and waves kissing our skin. We open our eyes to see a world undiscovered – full of life and carefree.
