Same place, same time, same waves

With down time in between QS events earlier this year, team riders Lucas Silveira, Kevin Schulz and Letty Mortensen were all in town and up to no good on the shores of Hawaii. It is not often that our shit aligns and our team are in the same place, at the same time, on the same waves so we sent over our mate and collaborator, Tyler Bell to join their entourage.

Turns out the waves were shithouse for almost 2 weeks straight and all the boys ended up doing was drinking beers and eating Poke bowls.

Zero. Clips. Filmed.

The boys were getting antsy. Luckily the waves were starting to pick up so we extended Tyler’s trip another week, got the boys off the beers and started to stack some clips with the little bump in swell coming through.

The result, 2 and a half minutes of surfing with mates on the north shore making the most of what they were served up with Lucas ripping the face of some Rockies rights, Kev and Letty pushing each other and dialling in some air time.

Couple Days, Couple Islands

Lucas Silveira doesn't chill out on down time between contests. Never not working. Never not out there grinding.

Lucas managed to link up with a few filmer mates over his down time between Barbados and Hawaii and stack together three and a half minutes of solid footage. Enjoy.

Com uma agenda cheia de viagens para cumprir o calendário do WQS, sobra pouco tempo para Lucas ficar em casa.
Mesmo assim, nesses intervalos, se entra no radar algum swell com potencial de altas ondas em algum lugar do planeta, Lucas vai atrás, para surfar as melhores ondas e treinar em todas as condições.
No começo de 2018 foi para o Marrocos em busca de mais um swell e aproveitou para produzir a campanha de Inverno da Rusty Brasil.
Além disso, refletiu sobre as experiências vividas nessas viagens, dando origem ao filme Psychomotricité. //

With a full schedule of trips to fulfill the WQS calendar, there is little time left for Lucas to stay at home.
Even so, in those intervals, if the radar shows some swell with potential of high waves somewhere on the planet, Lucas goes, to surf the best waves and to train in all conditions.
In early 2018 he went to Morocco in search of another swell and took the opportunity to produce the winter campaign of Rusty Brazil. In addition, he reflected on the experiences lived in these trips, giving rise to the film Psychomotricité.

Lucas Silveira - 12 Months

2017, the first year having Brazilian gun Lucas Silveira riding with the R dot on his board. Not one to stay at home longer than a few weeks, the following 6 minutes shows Lucas doesn’t need a hometown advantage when it comes to his surfing. Hawaii, Indo, Europe; its all there, and its all be annihilated.

It's that time of year again where the 7 Mile Miracle of Oahu lights up with swell and the world's best surfers flock to the island to harvest the goods.
