UNEXPECTED Win for Brazilian Gabryel Aguilar

With so much happening over the course of our head-to-head eliminator weekends at Red Bull Conquest, it can be hard to take in all the twists and turns which a single skater endures as they attempt to progress rank by rank.

The sudden-death format of our touring tribute to the skate terrain of the world’s major skate cities means that anyone, whether local hero or world-famous pro can advance or fall by the wayside in any match-up.

The results, as you can imagine, are instant and dramatic, and as was the case in both our stops in Paris and Lisbon previously, so it would again prove when our roadshow replicating the skate architecture of each famous city that plays host arrived in Rio De Janeiro at the end of May.

We followed Sao Paulo street machine Gabryel Aguilar on the journey of a lifetime as he rode his luck and broke his truck en route to being crowned King of Rio at Red Bull Rio Conquest 2023!

At the end of last October, another edition of Skate Jam Suzano took place, a championship organized by Davison Fortunato, a resident and one of the representatives of skateboarding in the municipality of São Paulo.

The event brought together big names in Brazilian amateur skateboarding in search of the victory that would give them a ticket to participate in Tampa AM 2022, in the USA.

The winner was Gabryel Aguilar, who later made a splash with his participation in the most important amateur championship held in Florida.

PHX AM 2022 trip with etnies flow teamriders

Tag along with our new skate team manager (and current teamrider) Aidan Campbell as he is driving out to Phoenix, Arizona with some of our flowriders.
