Koa Smith- Mini Ghost African safari ! Koa took his Mini ghost on an epic African safari in a wide range of conditions. While most people would consider riding a regular ghost in the larger conditions Koa makes a case for how a mini ghost can look extra spicy and fun! The Main difference of a Phantom and especially a Ghost is that the Mini Ghosts are a lot chunkier in the rails and up front (because of the beak nose flattening out the deck rocker and adding foam). The MG squash tail version has an overall much wider tail block with a pronounced hip which straightens out the outline behind the wide point giving it a little extra squirt off the bottom/top turns. Another big difference between Vs Phantom and Ghost is that the MG has much less overall rocker (nose and tail) so it will get up on top of the water and up to speed quickly and flow through flat spots well or on a bigger wave go really reallly fast!
