Background: The 2011 X Games Big Air bronze medalist is one of the high-flying Brazilian skaters and will put on a show. Unlike most of his Brazilian counterparts, he lives full-time in Brazil, only traveling to the U.S. for contests. The married father of two is known to all as "Vovo," which means "grandpa," in Portuguese, even though he's only 32. In Brazil, Edgard helps young skaters develop their skating skills to become pro skaters.

MINI RAMP PRO ATTACK 2021 - 2ª Etapa - RJ A memorable weekend in Rio de Janeiro, more precisely in Praça Mauá. That was the 2nd stage of the Mini Ramp Pro Attack 2021, which brought together the cream of Brasa's mini-rampeiros for a proper skateboarding celebration. We are recovering so far. // Um final de semana memorável no Rio de Janeiro, mais precisamente na Praça Mauá. Assim foi a 2ª etapa do Mini Ramp Pro Attack 2021, que reuniu a nata dos minirrampeiros do Brasa pra uma celebração do skate como deve ser. Estamos nos recuperando até agora.

X Games Foz do Iguaçu 2013 Skateboard Big Air: X GAMES THROWBACK | World of X Games Flashback to April 18, 2013. X Games has gone global and after winter stops in Aspen and Tignes, we dipped down to Brazil for X Games Foz do Iguaçu 2013. On day one, young guns and seasoned veterans produced a Skateboard Big Air show for the ages in Brazil. And in the end, Brazil's own Bob Burnquist draped yet another Big Air gold medal around his neck for the discipline's first three-peat. "We've had these MegaRamp events here, and I've gotten wins here, but, this was unique," Burnquist said. "I'm really stoked. And to do it here at home, as the first main X Games … I can't ask for anything better." An on-point Elliot Sloan claimed silver. Australia's 38-year-old Jake Brown took home the bronze medal, along the way penning a new page in the history books with skateboarding's first 720 ollie.
