COS Cup | München 2022 | Süddeutsche Skateboardmeisterschaft The third tour stop of this year's COS Cup series led the contest elite to a brand new park in a suburb of Munich, more precisely to Munich-Freiham. What seemed to be a very transition-heavy park at first glance turned out to be extremely suitable for a street contest. Riders from Aurich to Innsbruck found their way to the Bavarian capital and gave themselves the full skateboarding program from contest runs to the Ravenol Barrel Jump to the Warsteiner Street Challenge in fantastic weather. Der dritte Tourstopp der diesjährigen COS Cup Serie führte die Contest-Elite in einen nagelneuen Park in einem Vorort Münchens, genauer gesagt nach München-Freiham. Was auf den ersten Blick wie ein sehr transition-lastiger Park wirkte, erwies sich letztendlich als äußerst tauglich für einen Street-Contest. Fahrer von Aurich bis Innsbruck fanden den Weg in die bayrische Landeshauptstadt und gaben sich von Contest-Runs über den Ravenol Barrel-Jump bis hin zur Warsteiner Street Challenge das volle Skateboarding-Programm bei traumhaftem Wetter.

COS Cup Leipzig 2021 "Better late than never!" - This could be the motto of the COS Cup Series for the German Skateboard Championship in 2021. At the beginning of the year actually planned with five tour stops, but unfortunately had to give in to certain restrictions again in late spring. Thus, Munich and Mönchengladbach fell victim to the pandemic once again. Fortunately though, the situation normalized in the summer and the first COS Cup 2021 could take place on the third weekend of September; and that to one day exactly one year after the last COS Cup, which had also been held in the Heizhaus in Leipzig! „Besser spät als nie!“ – So könnte die Devise der COS Cup Serie zur Deutschen Skateboardmeisterschaft 2021 lauten. Anfang des Jahres eigentlich mit fünf Wettbewerben geplant, musste man sich im späten Frühjahr leider doch wieder gewissen Restriktionen geschlagen geben. So fielen München und Mönchengladbach ein weiteres Mal der Pandemie zum Opfer, aber glücklicherweise normalisierte sich die Lage im Sommer und es konnte am dritten Septemberwochenende der erste COS Cup 2021 stattfinden; und das bis auf einen Tag genau ein Jahr nach dem letzten COS Cup, der ebenfalls im Heizhaus zu Leipzig ausgetragen worden war! #Titus #ClubOfSkaters #Skateboarding
