Blue Tomato x Zumiez Best Foot Forward Europe stop in Berlin: Done!

The third stop of the Blue Tomato x Zumiez Best Foot Forward Europe Tour 2021 landed in Germany at Skatehalle Berlin on Saturday 3rd of July, and it was sick!

The contest happened for the first time ever in Skatehalle Berlin. Due to the great cooperation with the local crew, the Blue Tomato were able to welcome 74 skaters to the contest. In addition to that many spectators came and followed the contest by watching the live stream at the skate yard.

Another highlight of the day was the surprise Session by Solo Skatemag. Skaters could earn some cash for tricks by going full speed on the flatrail and curb – fast money for fast tricks.

Big congratulations to all the contestants and to all the riders who made the Podium!

Men:

1st place: Sascha Scharf - @saschaschafresoße

2nd place: Dominic Wenzel - @dominicwenzel

3rd place: Deo Katunga - @deolegotoy

Women:

1st place: Liv Broder - @liv.broder

2nd place : Julia Kühne - @chuuuules

3rd place: Alisa Fessl- @alisa.fessl

Blue Tomato's travel judges Stefan Ebner and Gienna Giese gave their comments on the performance of the highest ranked skaters:

Best Girl: Liv Broder: She was the only girl who skated the big stairset and stood out with her safe FS Feeble Grinds and Kickflips at the stairset.

03: Deo Katunga: Good flow-lines with safe tricks on every obstacle in the skate hall including all rails, ledges and transitions.

02: Dominic Wenzel: Clean lines, highly popped tricks including Tre Flip at the stairset. He surprised the judges and crowd with a Kickflip Late Body Varial.

01. Sascha Scharf: He skated very technical and stylish without bails during the full 2 minute heat. His BS Kickflip at the stairset was one for the books.
