Zumiez Best Foot Forward is an Am SKATE contest series started in 2007 to give back to the skateboarding community on a LOCAL level, while providing the country's best amateur skateboarders exposure on a GLOBAL level! Unlike most contests, Zumiez Best Foot Forward comes to YOU, and it’s always FREE to enter.

The Best Foot Forward Tour is starting into a new round to offer the best amateur skateboarders a stepping stone into a professional skate career. From May to June 2021, there will be tour stops across Europe with a number of skate contests. The 3 best skaters from each stop will compete in a big battle in Innsbruck for 5 places in the Best Foot Forward US final.

THE CONTEST
OPEN Qualifier (JAM Format)
Heats of three will be drawn and three athletes per heat have three minutes to compete against each other. After all heats, the top nine scores advance to the finals.

FINALS (JAM Format)
The nine best riders from the qualifier will be separated into three heats and will again compete for three minutes each. The top three scores win.

BEST TRICK (15 Minute open Jam)
Additionally, there is a best trick session.

THE AWARD
The top three skaters of everty tourstop will be invited to the European Finals in Innsbruck on the 24th of June 2021. Here they can battle for the last five spots for the Best Foot Forward US Finals. They get a fully paid trip to the Zumiez Best Foot Forward Finals in the USA, and get in touch with the top brands in the industry and receive cool prizes from the sponsors. The top three skaters of the finals in America will be joined by a skate film crew for a fat one-week road trip including film sessions at famous skate spots, access to private skate parks, exclusive experiences with leading brands and their riders, sponsorships and much more.
