2020 World Rookie Snowboard Finals: who will be the next stars?

After travelling all around the world in Europe, from South America to New Zealand and from North America to Japan and seeing the most prominent riders battling to conquer a spot in the World Rookie Snowboard Finals in Kitzsteinhorn – Kaprun/Zell am See, Austria, the Black Yeti is looking forward to seeing the next World Rookie Tour Champions.

Only the best young guns from the previous World Rookie Tour stops will join this legendary event. As is tradition the winners of the World Rookie Finals will be awarded with incredible prizes: wildcards to World Class Events, invitations to World Rookie Tour Shooting to be held in Les 2 Alpes, Trip to Chile and many tickets to next season World Rookie Tour events. Moreover, last Season the Black Yeti joined the forces with one of the most famous international competition, the Audi Nines, and the male and female 2020 Sowboard World Rookie Champion will win a ticket to this unique event for the big air contest, scheduled from the 17th to the 18th of April in Sölden and in Obergurgl, Austria.

Last but not least, the World Rookie Tour establish an important partnership which will increase the 2020 World Rookie Finals prizes: all the 2020 rookie champions, snowboard/freeski, male and female, will be awarded with a personal spot for the 2020.21 FIS World Cups.

Who will be the next snowboard stars?

From the 30th of March till the 04th of April riders from all over the world will gather in Austria for a unique sports and lifestyle event in a great international scenario. The program of 2020 World Rookie Finals will include World Snowboard Tour Slopestyle and Half Pipe contest and many lifestyle activities: social dinners, workshops, the final party and much more.

Shuttle Service: Available from Salzburg airport and from Munich airport – more info after request.

Event format: Slopestyle and Half Pipe (NATIONAL LEVEL), helmet and protector mandatory

Age groups: Rookie (born 2002-2003-2004) and Grom (born 2005 and younger)

Prize: Ticket to the Audi Nines, Ticket to Spring Battle, filming with Pirate Movie Productions, 2 invitations to the Rookie Fest Shooting, 2 Golden tickets to 20/21 World Rookie Tour events, tickets to 2020/21 Rookie Fests, Freeride Film Trip to Chile, Prices from Burton, TSG, Union, Level, …

Registrations: by returning the registration form attached to registration@worldrookietour.com before 27. March 2020

Entry fee: 500€ for one Discipline, 550€ for both Disciplines

Lift tickets, event registration, hotel in half board from 25.-30.03.2019 included. It´s possible to book already before or additional days after competition – just let us know in your inscription. For competitors there will be also 10€ for bib deposit.

For coaches, parents and crew the entry fee is €450. For Single Rooms additional €10/Day will be charged.

Due to a new Austrian Law – Cash Payments are not allowed anymore.

You will get invoiced after we received the registration. Full amount to be paid per bank transfer before the event.

Till 1 week before the event, room cancellation is possible. Afterwards cancellation fee is to pay for the booked rooms!! (The registrant will be invoiced)

Judging: Will be accomplished by official judges and snowboard experts.
