Lightning Bolt are continuing their 50th anniversary celebrations by partnering with Las Américas Surf Pro for the ‘Lightning Bolt Festival‘, taking place between November 27 and December 5.

VANS’ JAM-PACKED 2-WEEK ‘SKATE THE STRAND’ EVENT STARTS TOMORROW

Starting tomorrow, September 8, Vans is hosting ‘Skate the Strand‘; a 2-week event consisting of a jam packed programme of free skate lessons, pro demos and open skate sessions. ‘Skate the Strand’ will take place on the newly pedestrianised Strand Aldwych, with Vans x Betongpark setting up a temporary street skatepark outside Somerset House. Skaters of all levels are invited to join in.

PARIS SURF & SKATEBOARD FILM FESTIVAL 2021 OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS

The Paris Surf & Skateboard film festival returns for its’ 6th edition in 2021. The festival is scheduled to take place between September 23-26 at L’Entrepôt in Paris.

The Paris Surf & Skateboard film festival is open for submissions until June 20.

WIRED SNOWBOARDS WELCOMES DEVUN WALSH TO THEIR TEAM

Heading back to his roots in Vancouver, snowboarder Devun Walsh has joined the team at Wired Snowboards, who are also based in Vancouver. Wired Brand Manager Rob Dow says he is excited about working with Devun and his future at Wired.

FWT 2021 BIG MOUNTAIN EVENTS TO BE AIRED LIVE ON FUEL TV IN NEW DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT

The FWT 2021 Big Mountain events in Andorra (Feb 20-26) and Austria (March 6-12) will be aired live & worldwide on Fuel TV in a novel distribution agreement with the Freeride World Tour.

SCANDALNAVIANS 2 EUROPEAN PREMIERE TOUR CANCELLED, BUT FULL MOVIE SCREENING FREE DECEMBER 1ST

Due to the restrictions on gatherings as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, the European tour for the premiere of SCANDALNAVIANS 2 has been cancelled.

However we will now release a Digital Online World Premiere and the full length movie for your free viewing pleasure on the 1st of December 2020 on Scandalnavians Youtube channel and on http://scandalnavians.com.

UK NATIONAL SNOW SHOW SET TO DEBUT IN BIRMINGHAM, OCTOBER 2021

October 2021 sees the reincarnation of the legendary London Ski & Snowboard Show, with the birth of The National Snow Show, hosted by Raccoon Events. The new event, run by some of the former event’s management team will take over the NEC in Birmingham for a weekend of action, talks, workshops, brand and retail exhibitors, entertainment, after parties and some of the biggest names in snowsports. The new UK Snow Show will unite the snowsports industry just as winter kicks off for the 21/22 season, providing brands with the perfect platform to activate any new marketing campaigns.
