Foundation info: Pushing Myanmar was born out of a Make Life Skate Life project to construct the first free-of-charge community-built international standard skatepark in Yangon, Myanmar (Burma). The 400 m² concrete skatepark was constructed over a 3 week period in December 2015, led by a team of over 30 volunteer skatepark builders from 15 countries around the world who worked with local skateboarders to teach them about concrete skatepark construction.Since the parks completion, an on-site equipment loaner system has been established to allow youth free access to skateboards, safety gear, and skate shoes, regardless of economic standing.
