Western New York Snowboard Series was founded in 1994 by Pete and Donna Greene. At that time, the series only offered Halfpipe and Slopestyle events. Alpine and Boardercross events were added in the late 1990's. After 10 years, the Greene’s retired, and in 2004 Andrew Boorman took over the series. The Western New York Series is a very alpine racing strong series and has produced a number of Canadian National Team members, including current members, Darren Gardner and Megan Farrell.

In this region we also boast some quality BX/SX tracks for the better development of our athletes.

We now offer Slopestyle, Boarder/Skier Cross, Parallel Giant Slalom and Slalom, Rail Jam, and Banked Slalom.
