The Upper Midwest Snow Series was founded in 1984. USASA began sanctioning our events in 1992 and our region even hosted USASA Nationals in 1995 at Giants Ridge. It's serving Afton Alps, Buck Hill, Giants Ridge, Hyland Hills, Powder Ridge, Spirit Mountain and Wild Mountain.
We travel all over Minnesota and aim to provide fun, fair and safe events that prepare our membership for further competition. Many of our region’s competitors have gone on to have very successful professional snowboarding careers, such as Steve Fisher, Mason and Molly Aguirre, Zac Marben, Chad Otterstrom, and Alexis Roland.
