Katie Kennedy's "Working From Paradise"

Lib Ripper Katie Kennedy charges on all terrain and this season edit shows it. Power, style and commitment, she's got it! Jack Reid got the clips, Katie took the slams, got the makes and we get to enjoy!
From Katie: "I have been snowboarding for a long time. Mostly soul shredding with my friends, not in front of a camera. But I have always wanted to film snowboarding and make something at the end of a season. I wanted to see if I was capable of creating something that my friends and peers would enjoy. The final result is this little edit of my footage. The whole process was fun and it made me more productive on my snowboard. I was lucky enough to be able to work with Jack Reid. He made it even more fun. I was also lucky enough to live with Amanda, Jill, Taylor, and Parker last winter. I couldn’t have done this without them. Thanks to everyone that helped along the way."

INVITATION LOCKED: Eric Jackson

Erick Jackson, the man known by fans as E-Jack has transcended generations of backcountry riders for over a decade at this point with his ability, approach and propensity to stomp everything in his path. Eric Jackson has been reinventing backcountry video parts since the moment he stepped outside of resort boundaries, and as a result, he has been officially invited to the Natural Selection Tour.
From his early video part days with Standard Films to his more recent offerings with TransWorld Snowboarding, Eric is one of the most celebrated all-mountain riders of his time. He’s no stranger to courses like the ones he will see during the three stops of the Natural Selection Tour starting in Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, second at the renowned Baldface Lodge and finals held at the famed Tordrillo Mountain Lodge in AK. E-Jack also competed in Baldface at Travis Rice's Supernatural event in 2012, finishing just outside of the top ten. This former TransWorld Snowboarding Video Part of the Year winner and X Games Real Snow Backcountry bronze medalist will be looking for redemption come this winter February 2021 at Natural Selection. INVITATION LOCKED: Austen Sweetin

Austen Sweetin is a nucleus of energy, and it’s evident in his riding. Never one to speed check, Austen’s explosiveness is seen every time he leaves the lip or hacks into a pow turn. It’s this unique approach that has made him one of the best all-mountain freestyle snowboarders on planet earth, and exactly why he was chosen to be a part of the Natural Selection Tour this winter.
Austen is a Northwest local and in his early years he stood out as an incredible park rider at annual events like, Snowboarder Magazine’s Superpark and The Launch, which caught the attention of the crew at Forum Snowboards who then signed Austen. He then skyrocketed onto the international scene, but the backcountry was calling and Austen set off into the unknown, emerging with some of the most psycho clips come every winter. Since then, he’s been honing his craft and has become incredibly adept at drawing lines in faces that not many other riders can see. Be it natural or hand-built terrain, Austen will stand out in any backcountry session and that’s why we couldn’t be more excited to see how he will execute at the first stop of the Natural Selection Tour this winter February 2021 at YETI Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

INVITATION LOCKED: Travis Rice

It’s a tough task to put someone like Travis Rice into words, but we will give it a go. There is perhaps no other snowboarder on earth that has left a legacy on how a snowboard should be ridden in the backcountry than Jackson Hole’s native son, Travis Rice. While Travis’ introduction in snowboarding came through the competitive ranks, it was his first 5-10 years of both competition results and film parts that set the foundation for the beginning of his creative showcase.
From his world-renowned films "The Community Project," "That’s It, That’s All," "The Art of Flight", "The Fourth Phase", "Depth Perception" and most recently, "Dark Matter," Travis redefined what is possible on a snowboard. Be it hitting Chad’s Gap and landing on every major magazine publication’s cover or incepting a backcountry-specific contest series in The Natural Selection Tour, Travis is hands-down one of the most influential and greatest athletes that snowboarding has ever known. He'll be the first to tell you that he works with great people on all his projects. He works hard, is focused on the execution, and maybe more than anything else, still really enjoys snowboarding! His approach and experience make him one of the odds-on favorites to do well at the YETI Natural Selection come this winter, February 2021.

INVITATION LOCKED: Chris Rasman

When Chris Rasman’s name comes up in general snowboarding conversation, it usually ends with one word: Power. Rasman is a rock-solid rider and his years of experience in the vast abyss of the Whistler backcountry is evident in everything that he does. From building perfect kickers into seemingly endless powder landings, to manhandling his sled en route to the zones, Rasman’s notorious Whistler crew is appropriately named, “The Manboys.” Said gentlemen have been terrorizing the zones in and around Whistler for years now. Their film edits take the internet by storm due to the sheer size of the features that they choose to hit, Rasman being a strong vertebrae in the Manboys' backbone.
Rasman is as consistent as it gets and he knows nearly every trick in the book, and those are precisely the talking points that make him a serious contender on the Natural Selection Tour this winter, February 2021.
