What's up

Conner Coffin testing his JS quiver at the Waco Wave Pool. Before coming out to Australia for the CT, Conner and some our USA team including Oliver Kurtz, Brent Reilly and Heath Walker travelled to Texas for some board testing at the Waco wave pool. Using his regular Monsta 2020 shortboard as a starting point, Conner stepped down to a Monsta Box 2020 and a Bullseye in HYFI, before eventually going all the way down to our twin fins. Just as expected, he preferred the Black Baron for a more high performance approach in the BSR pool’s steep sections, whereas the Red Baron’s strengths shine more in softer waves with open face, like a small day at Rincon. Note Conner’s quiver is the same thickness throughout, which automatically gives you a very similar volume from performance shortboard to step down, then around 1-2L more for the twin fins and grovellers. Full board breakdown, below: Red Baron: 5’3” x 20 ½” x 2 5/16” x 28.3L Black Baron 5’5” x 19 ¾” x 2 5/16” x 27.5L HYFI Bullseye 5’6” x 19” x 2 5/16” x 26.4L Monsta Box 2020 5’8” x 18 ¾” x 2 5/16” x 26.3L Monsta 2020 5’10” x 18 5/8” x 2 5/16” x 26.5L Find them at:

Conner Coffin Rides 5 STOCK JS Surfboards | Off the Rack Welcome to Off The Rack, our new surfboard series wherein we take A-list surfers unfamiliar with a brand's consumer-grade foam and fiberglass wares, and see if they can handle professional* scrutiny. Why? Because we know that a world-class shaper can whip together a world-class board for a world-class surfer. But can they build an Everyman performance sled that a Pro would even consider riding in a heat, or filming a session on? Pro surfers on the general public's boards. Pretty simple. First up, Conner Coffin and JS Surfboards.
