The YETI Xtreme Verbier by Honda marks the highly anticipated conclusion of the FIS Freeride World Tour by Peak Performance, as the world's best freeriders prepare for the ultimate test on Bec des Rosses.

This year’s edition is particularly special, as it celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Xtreme Verbier, an event that has defined freeride competition since 1996. Originally a snowboard-only contest, it welcomed skiers in 2004 before evolving into the official Freeride World Tour Finals in 2008.

With three world titles still undecided, the battle for the crown will come down to one final performance on the most technical face in FWT history. Who will rise to the challenge and carve their names into the sport’s history books?

Over the years, it has been the proving ground where freeride legends were made, and 2025 will be no different.

The Snowboard Women category at the Fieberbrunn Pro was about more than just a podium—it was the moment where Noémie Equy secured the 2025 Freeride World Tour title in her rookie season. With a comfortable lead in the standings, she needed a solid performance to clinch the championship, and she delivered in spectacular fashion.

Equy attacked her run with speed, confidence, and technical precision, navigating the steep upper chutes before linking a fluid double drop. A controlled frontside 360 midway down showcased her freestyle prowess, and she sealed the deal with a smart, calculated descent, earning 83.33 points and officially becoming the 2025 Snowboard Women Freeride World Tour Champion.

TEASER I FWT 2025 Fieberbrunn Pro

The FIS Freeride World Tour by Peak Performance is back in Austria for the fifth and final stop before the FWT Finals. After nearly two weeks in Georgia waiting for optimal snow conditions, athletes now turn their focus to Fieberbrunn’s Wildseeloder, a legendary freeride venue known for its steep terrain and technical couloirs.

This is the last opportunity for riders below the Cut to secure their spot for the FWT Finals, setting the stage for an all-or-nothing showdown. Expect spectacular performances as athletes push their limits, aiming to land podium-worthy runs. The weather window spanning from March 8 to 13 ensures that organizers can select the best possible day to guarantee good freeride conditions.
