Unfinished follows snowboarder Liam Brearley at a pivotal point in his journey. After years of sacrifice, relentless training, and chasing the world’s biggest stage, an unexpected injury forces everything to pause - but not the belief.

This short documentary pulls back the curtain on who Liam is beyond the podium: where he came from, what it took to get here, and the mentality that refuses to let one setback define the ending. It’s a story about resilience, unfinished business, and the quiet confidence that the best chapters are still ahead.

Exposure Skate is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women and girls through skateboarding and teaching compassion through service. They offer a range of classes, camps, retreats, college scholarships and events for all ages which incorporate social and emotional learning through skateboarding, mindfulness and community service. Exposure’s unique programming creates an outlet for women, girls and nonbinary individuals to build confidence, community, education and healthy mental and physical well-being.

Park is a style of skateboarding featuring a variety of obstacles such as ramps, bowls, quarterpipes and ledges arranged in a challenging and creative layout. Skateboarders use these obstacles to perform a variety of tricks, airs and grinds, incorporating a majority or all features into a single run. Competitors will be judged based on execution of maneuvers, degree of difficulty, variety, continuity of run, originality and style, amplitude (height of airs) and use of the course.

Street is a style of skateboarding that takes place on a course simulating urban terrain using everyday objects such as curbs, stairs, handrails, benches and quarterpipes as obstacles. Skateboarders use these obstacles to perform a variety of tricks, grinds and board flips, often combining multiple maneuvers into a single trick. Skateboard street requires a high level of creativity, adaptability and technical skill, as riders must navigate the urban landscape and perform with precision and control. Competitions in skateboard street involve riders performing a series of timed runs, with judges evaluating the difficulty, execution and originality of their tricks.

1 heat of 8 athletes in a 20 minute jam session taking as many attempts as possible within the allotted time. Best trick counts, athletes ranked 1-8.

Vert is a style of skateboarding that involves performing tricks on a large U-shaped ramp called a halfpipe or vert ramp. The rider gains speed by pumping up and down the ramp, building momentum for aerial maneuvers that can reach heights exceeding 10 feet. Skaters perform a variety of tricks, including spins, flips and grabs, while soaring through the air above the ramp. Skateboard vert requires a combination of speed, agility and courage, as riders must maintain control while executing complex aerial maneuvers at high speeds. Skateboard vert best trick sees riders perform a single big trick, and the X Games contest has witnessed some of the most famous moments in action sports history, like Tony Hawk’s 900 in 1999 and Gui Khury’s 1080 in 2021.
