16 Years Old and Pushing For The Olympics | Who Is Ruby Lilley? Introducing Ruby Lilley, the 16-year-old skateboarding prodigy from Oceanside, CA, who is taking the skateboarding world by storm. In this episode of "WHO IS”, we dive deep into Lilley's life, exploring her journey to becoming a professional skateboarder, her passion for the sport, and her plans for the future. Ruby’s story is one of natural talent and dedication. Originally a dancer with a passion for ballet and ballroom, Lilley discovered skateboarding when she followed her older brothers to the park. In the past year, Lilley has made a name for herself on the international skateboarding stage. She placed 1st at the Exposure Vert Pro Open, 2nd place at the 2022 USA Skateboarding National Championships, and most recently, 2nd place at X-Games Japan this past weekend. Her hard work and dedication paid off when she was selected for the 2023 USA Skateboarding National Team for Women’s Park, cementing her position as one of the top female park skateboarders in the world.
