The event wasn’t just about competition—fans were treated to a surprise Sofi Tukker performance and a star-studded crowd, with Big Boi closing out the celebration. With a $1.6 million total prize purse and the next stop set for China in December, The Snow League is redefining snowboarding competition.

Qualifying Day Highlights | The Snow League, Event One | Aspen Snowmass 2025 Qualifying Day of The Snow League brought serious competition to ‪@aspensnowmass‬ narrowing the field to eight men and eight women for Finals Day. Ayumu Hirano and Maddie Mastro led the way as top qualifiers, each earning five bonus points in the Snow League World Championship Standings. The new format pushed riders to showcase creativity and versatility, with head-to-head matchups set to determine the first-ever Snow League champion. With $370,000 in prize money on the line, the stage is set for an epic Finals Day showdown. ABOUT THE SNOW LEAGUE: Launched in June 2024, The Snow League is the first professional winter sports league dedicated to snowboarding and freeskiing. Founded by three-time Olympic gold medalist and entrepreneur Shaun White. Season One features a four-event global format boasting a $1.6 million prize purse, with athletes competing to earn points to determine the overall champions. The season kicks off at Buttermilk in Aspen Snowmass (March 7–8, 2025), then moves to Yunding Secret Garden, China (Dec. 4–6, 2025), where 16 of the world’s top freeskiers will join the roster at the Beijing 2022 Olympic venue. The League returns to Aspen (Feb. 26–28, 2026) and concludes at Switzerland (March 19–21, 2026), where the first-ever Snow League World Champions will be crowned. The Snow League is represented by Range Sports to advise on its media rights and commercial partnerships strategy and execution.
