How skateboarders train | How Olympians Train Skateboarding made its exciting debut at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo and immediately caught the attention of a new generation of sports fans. This fast-paced sport comprises two disciplines: street and park. While the street competitions take place in a replica of urban environments, including stairs, railings and benches, the park competitions are held in specially designed concrete pools with different heights and curves.An outstanding example of the fascination of Olympic skateboarding is the youngest medal winner, Sky Brown, who was only 13 years old at the Tokyo Games. This dynamic sport was introduced to attract younger spectators to the Olympic Games and show them that creativity, difficulty, originality and the perfect execution of tricks are the key to success.
