Last year almost 60 shred queens lived it up at the Girls Shred Session at Vans Penken Park. How many will show up this year? 7th QParks Snowboard Tour Stop, 25/02/2017, Golden Roofpark Axamer Lizum, Axamer Lizum /Austria. New QPark, new QParks Tour Stop! The Golden Roofpark Axamer Lizum has become THE freestyle hotspot for enthusiastic riders around Innsbruck this winter. In February, a proper park warming will be hosted by the QParks Snowboard Tour, as their next Stop leads straight into the Golden Roofpark. At the Gold & Glory, riders can look forward to a mint contest setup and up to 1,200€ prize money.

6th QParks Snowboard Tour Stop, 18/02/2017, Snowpark Kitzbühel, Kitzbühel /Austria. Here we go again! The Sick Trick Tour Open are back and traditionally, they take place at the Hanglalm in Kitzbühel on February 18, 2017. An epic setup, freshly shaped and ready to shred is waiting for you at the Snowpark Kitzbühel. So grab your boards and make this contest a SICK one!

The Black Yeti travels all around the world during the winter: from Chile to Australia, from Greece to Scandinavia, from the Alps to Japan. Rookies from more that 20 countries battles through the season to conquer their spot to the most exclusive youth snowboard event on planet Earth: the World Rookie Finals at Kitzsteinhorn – Kaprun, Zell am See. In February 2017, the Rookie Fest returns to Oslo for a weekend packed with snowboard in Oslo Winterpark. Riders will be able to compete in halfpipe, and the winners will be awarded with tickets to ride the World Rooke Final 2017.

4th QParks Snowboard Tour Stop, 28/01/2017, Superpark Planai, Schladming /Austria. Last Saturday, all the systems were set to freestyle mode in the Schladming-Dachstein region when the 4th QParks Tour Stop took place at the Superpark Planai in the form of the Blue Tomato Plan P. Park designer Pavel Stratil and his shape crew put a maximum of effort into keeping the contest line in mint condition. Also the weather was on the snowboarders’ and the visitors’ side with plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures. Everything just came together – perfect conditions for some mind-bending shred-action!

At this year’s Penken Battle, snowboarders out of all corners of Europe lived it up in the Advanced Line of the Vans Penken Park. Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards 2016/2017: 3. Tourstop Zillertal Arena - Gerlos: 21.- 22. Januar 2017. Winter´s finally all over the Zillertal. In all local snow parks, you can witness teams and riders training hard for the upcoming third Zillertal Välley Rälley tourstop hosted by Ride Snowboards these days. The next stage of the popular snowboard amateur series will go down on January 21st and 22nd 2017, at Snowpark Gerlos in the Zillertal Arena. Everyone can get involved in the freebie freestyle coaching sessions with the Ästhetiker or sign up for free avalanche safety workshops hosted by Billabong on the Coaching Day. QParks Snowboard Tour Stop #2, 07.01.2017, Snowpark Schöneben, Schöneben, Italy. A mighty kicker line and frosty temperatures coupled with some amazing runs – The Battle ROJal 2017 certainly left quite an impression. The riders were pulling off plenty if gnarly tricks in the categories Men, Women and Groms, fighting for the victory in the battle for Schöneben.

What a season kick-off at Betterpark Hochzillertal! More than one hundred riders gathered in the Zillertal on December 17th and 18th to herald the start of the snowpark season with the second Zillertal Välley Rälley hosted by Ride Snowboards tourstop in the first holiday region of the Zillertal. Beside freebie freestyle coachings, also avalanche safety workshops were on top of the agenda for the popular snowboard amateur series. In the freestyle competition, snowboarders from all over Europe were pushing the limits far beyond amateur levels.
