Summer might be flying by, but the World Rookie Tour is not slowing down. While some are packing away their boards for the season, we’re still turning up the volume and keeping the dream alive.

The road to the World Rookie Tour Finals in Slovenia at the end of September is heating up, and every event now counts more than ever. Every trick you land, every heat you ride, every comp you enter – it could be the one that sends you straight to the Finals stage. And with each day passing, we’re getting closer to the big showdown.

16th August, Elgg (Switzerland)

Switzerland is ready to bring the heat! The Swiss Rookie Fest is back and will take place at the iconic Elgg Skatepark on Saturday, August 16. Hosted by Skate Academy, this event is open to both Groms and Rookies and is a key opportunity to earn your spot at the World Rookie Finals in Slovenia.

23rd August, Dumbarton (UK)

Skate history in the making: for the first time ever, the WRT lands at Unit 23, the legendary Scottish indoor park.

Expect street and bowl comps, open sessions, side activities and a pure community vibe. This is one of the most anticipated rookie events of the summer – and registrations are officially open! 🛹🔥

If you're ready to shred with the UK scene and riders from all over Europe, don’t wait: spots are limited and the hype is real.

23rd August, Chemnitz (Germany)

Get ready for some serious street vibes at the legendary Konkordiapark in Chemnitz, Germany! On August 23-24, the Bring Da Truckaz Rookie Fest returns with raw energy, heavy tricks, and proper DIY skate culture.

Organised by Skateboarding Chemnitz, this WRT stop features:

• Rookie and Grom categories (boys and girls)

• A real street setup in an iconic outdoor location

• Music, BBQ, best trick contest and after party on Saturday

Only the Saturday contest is valid for WRT Finals qualification!

The World Rookie Tour is organized by the Black Yeti ssrl in collaboration with the World Snowboard Federation, National Snowboard, Ski and Skateboard Associations, and selected action sports agencies. It was born in 2005 as a series of youth snowboard events and it consists now of a selection of high-quality International events for snowboard, Freeski, Skateboard and Surf, the so-called "Rookie Fests", reserved for riders under 18's only, in Europe, North and South America, Oceania and Asia. The World Rookie Tour consists not only of competitions: it also features loads of other activities to help rookies to grow in the field of professional action sports, such as photo & video shootings, avalanche, and rescue clinics, meetings with photographers, and international team managers, parties and English talks. Since year zero, it awards tickets to world-class events such as X Games Norway, Audi Nines, The Arctic Challenge, The Air & Style, The World Snowboarding Championships, Red Bull Roller Coaster, Simple Session, Mystic Sk8 Cup, invitations to professional photo & video shootings, and shooting trip all around the world. Every year the tour crowns the World Rookie Champions at the end of the season, during the World Rookie Finals, a unique event format where the best youngsters from almost 30 countries compete and have fun.
