Tyson Bowerbank gets the highest score at The Boardr Am at Vista

The first stop of the 2016 The Boardr Am series went down this weekend at Academy Skatepark in Vista, the next April stop being in Phoenix followed by three more in May: Altanta, New York City & last but not least Tampa Bay.

Tyson becomes the first winner of the series! In his third run Zion Wright was sitting in first place with an 88 until Tyson Bowerbank edged him out with a 91 to take the top spot. We'll see him again this year at X Games for The Boardr Am Finals. Great job, Tyson!

A few facts about the series…

The Boardr Am is a top international amateur skateboarding series, the schedule at every stop is the same. Winners at each stop are flown to the Finals at X Games Austin in June to meet other specially invited ams. A one hour show on ESPN's World of X produced by The Boardr will document the skaters' stories of the road to Austin, Texas.
